Mr. John Douglas Taylor, 66, a resident of Southside Chesconessex, passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2019, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock. A native of Southside Chesconessex, he was the son of the late Johnnie C. Taylor and the late Betty Jean Spence Taylor. He was retired from Shore Vault & Precast Company.
He is survived by his aunt, Maybelle S. Bennett and her husband, Sonny, of Onancock.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at Doughty Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment was private in Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
