Mrs. Gloria M. Miller, 94, wife of the late Jay D. Miller Sr. and a resident of Onancock, formerly of New Jersey, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at Heritage Hall Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Nassawadox.
Born April 18, 1924, in Bayonne, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Joseph Ghizzone and Martha Kaminski Ghizzone. Mrs. Miller was active in the Presbyterian church, both in New Jersey and Onancock.
Survivors include her son, Jay D. Miller Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Onancock; two grandchildren, Daniel Miller, of Largo, Fla., and Joanne M. Prewer, of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Keeley Prewer.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 18, at 1:30 p.m., at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, N.J., where final urn interment with her husband will take place.
