Most of Snow/Sleet Will Be North of ESVA Tuesday Night/Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued an updated forecast for the winter weather moving through the area Tuesday night into Wednesday. Most of the frozen precipitation is expected to be north of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The weather service predicts the Eastern Shore will see less than an inch of snowfall before the precipitation changes to all rain early Wednesday afternoon.

To the north, parts of the Eastern Shore of Maryland could see 1-2 inches of accumulating snow and sleet.
