The Great Dismal Swamp: A Pictorial Exploration of its Natural Wonders

A photographic journey of the Great Dismal Swamp flora and fauna. Guest speaker Teta Kain has visited the Dismal Swamp many times, assisting with bird surveys, participating in butterfly and bird counts, leading field trips, and enjoying private photographic safaris to all parts of the refuge. The Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge is a goldmine of wildlife and plants, many found nowhere else but the Swamp. Teta will use beautiful photographs to explore the flora and fauna of this paradise of birds, butterflies and other natural wonders. The public is invited to this hour long free event.
