Mr. Lynwood Crittenden Butler, 71, a resident of Craddockville, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock. A native of Birdsnest, he was the son of the late Lewis Crittenden Butler and Mary Elizabeth Parkerson Butler. He was a retired salesman and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Butler is survived by two children, Troy Butler, and Scott Butler and his wife, Amanda, both of Craddockville; and one grandson, Nathan Butler, of Belle Haven.
A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, at Johnson’s United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Rob Kelly officiating. Memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P.O. Box 430, Onancock, VA 23417.
