Ms. Tammy McConnell Fritts departed this life on Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Md., following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 27, 1960, and resided at Wallops Station from infancy until her graduation from Arcadia High School in 1979.
Upon graduation, Ms. Fritts moved to Baltimore where she pursued a career in business. She was employed at Almo Professional A/V for the last 20 years and received multiple awards for her significant contributions to the audio-visual industry.
A loyal Baltimore Ravens fan, Ms. Fritts never missed a home football game. She also volunteered at a local animal shelter and provided loving home care to a collection of dogs, cats, and ferrets. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Oct. 20, at 3 p.m., at McComas Funeral Home in Bel Air, Md.
In addition to her mother, Betty L. McConnell, she leaves to cherish loving memories a brother, Jim McConnell; sisters, Betty Carol McConnell and Bonnie McConnell Alt; nephews, Kyle and Kevin Alt; and a niece, Samantha Alt.
