Ms. Jane Goard Cooke, 68 of White House, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tenn.
She was born Feb. 28, 1950, in Nassawadox, Va., to William Lee and Edna Frances Howard Goard. She worked in sales until her retirement and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Parksley, Va.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Glenn Goard and Richard Goard. She is survived by her daughters, Jessica (Tim) Mayberry, of White House, Tenn., and Pamela (Rob) Duncan, of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three grandchildren, Dylan Duncan, Autumn Mayberry and Logan Mayberry.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Bloxom Fire Department, 15312 Bayside Drive, Bloxom, VA 23308.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor New York, NY 10001.
