Mrs. Linda Ann Thompson Jacobs

Mrs. Linda Ann Thompson Jacobs, loving wife of Stephen Jacobs, passed away and entered the Kingdom of God into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. She was born Jan. 17, 1957, in Bitburg, Germany, to the late Dr. Billy Ray and Jewell Shreves Thompson. Born into a U.S. Air Force family, Mrs. Jacobs saw much of her country and lived in Germany and the Philippines. She was a 1975 graduate of Onancock High School. She worked in retail management for many years and as a volunteer at church. Mrs. Jacobs was wellknown for her caring, generous spirit.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen; sisters, Starr Krumm (Steven), of Chester, Va., and Robin Helms (Art), of Huntsville, Ala.; brother, Nelson Thompson (Veronica), of Sanford; sister-in-law, Beth Webb, of New Market, Md.; nieces, Rayna Helms, of Phoenix, Ariz., Hannah Krumm, of Chester, Va., Debbie Heverin (Jim), of Manassas, Va., and Jewell Thompson, of Sanford; nephew, Andrew Krumm (Hope), of Dothan, Ala.; aunts, Edna Guill, of Virginia Beach, Va., Dorothy Thompson, of Melfa, Carolyn Piper, of Yorktown, Va., and Louise Lanman, of Pennsylvania; uncle, Roland Thompson, of Jamesville, Va.; and numerous cousins, other family members, and friends.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Jacobs was predeceased by grandparents George and Julia Morris Thompson, Nelson and Hazel Shreves, and Agnes Deschenaeux.

Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Mrs. Jacobs are all invited to the Modest Town Baptist Church, Modest Town, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, for a celebration of her life. The service will be followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.
