A local real estate agent accused of 18 counts of fraud, forgery, and theft was arrested late last month.
Juliet Upshur Beach Black, 36, of Randolph Avenue in Cape Charles, was charged with five counts of forging checks, identity theft, six counts of credit card larceny, and six counts of credit card fraud, according to records filed in Northampton General District Court.
The incidents occurred in September, October, and November 2018. The court file also disclosed Black was a business owner for three months when the incidents occurred. She is free on $2,000 secured bond.
Investigator Barry W. Randall, of the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, handled the case. Black was arrested Dec. 30.
