Ms. Mary Greer, 69, of Bloxom, passed away on Jan. 9, 2019, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family and friends and
her dog, Lucky.
Born Dec. 12, 1949, in Charlottesville, Va., she was the daughter of the late William Griffin and Averil Taylor Griffin. Ms. Greer was a hairstylist for many, many years.
Ms. Greer is survived by two sons; John Charles Greer and Susan Kellam, of Mel-fa, and Bryan Keith Greer, of Onancock; a daughter, Letitia Dawn Greer, of Bloxom; six grandchildren, Ryan Avery Greer, of Sanford, Amory Louise Greer, of Parksley, Madison Brooke Greer, of Melfa, Sydney Grace Greer, of Bloxom, Tucker Dale Greer, of Melfa, and Landon Chase Greer, of Melfa; five great-grandchildren; and numerous special friends.
A funeral service was held Jan. 12, 2019, from the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley with the Rev. John Cullop officiating.
