Ms. Patricia Dale “Patti” Kiefer, 75, resident of Fort Washington, Pa., formerly of Parksley, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Born Sept. 3, 1943, in Catonsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late William James Kiefer Sr. and Rose Watkins Kiefer Mott. 

Following graduation from Parksley High School, Ms. Kiefer pursued her dream of becoming a teacher, receiving her degree in elementary education from Gwynedd Mercy University, in Gwynedd Valley, Pa. Ms. Kiefer worked for the Wissahickon School District, in Ambler, Pa., where she was a beloved kindergarten teacher for several decades. Her kind and loving nature was a true gift to her students, family, and friends and was evident to those she taught, in the care she provided to her mother, and in the homemade crafts she graciously shared with loved ones. Ms. Kiefer will be forever remembered for her beautiful heart, refreshing candor, and witty sarcasm.

Ms. Kiefer is survived by her two sisters-in-law, Karen Crim and her husband, Glen II, of Fox Grove, Parksley, and Agnes Gaylor, of England; and their families. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William James “Billy” Kiefer Jr.; uncles, Elsworth Watkins, Richard “Dick” Kiefer, and Dr. Robert “Bob” Kiefer; aunt, Jessie Fay Grigsby; and niece, Diana Michelle Kiefer. 

A memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church March 19, 2019, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Alan Layman and the Rev. Andrew Matthews officiating.
