Mr. Donald Frank Fletcher IV, 40, of Wattsville, died May 27, 2019, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. Born Nov. 18, 1978, in the same hospital, he was the son of Linda Hunter Fletcher and the late Donald F. Fletcher III.

Mr. Fletcher was a graduate of Arcadia High School, Class of 1998. After graduation, he owned and operated Fletcher’s Lawn Care for several years. Chronic renal failure and dialysis were part of his life and health history and often inhibited his activities.

He was a member of Atlantic Volunteer Fire Company, Bloxom Volunteer Fire Company, and worked for many years as an EMT and ambulance driver until he went on dialysis in 2013. He was a member of Atlantic Baptist Church.

Mr. Fletcher is survived by his mother and several family members; aunts and uncles Peggy H. Baldwin and husband, Kirk, of Hoschton, Ga., Susan M. Fletcher, of Pocomoke, Md., and Richard A. Fletcher and wife, Elizabeth N. Fletcher, of San Diego, Calif.; and cousins Billy McCready and wife, Donna, of Assawoman, Timmy McCready and wife, Barbara, of Atlantic, Sue M. Kilianski and husband, Joe, of Marco Island, Fla., Sarah Katherine Fletcher Bingman and husband, Rick, of Belle Haven, Nancy Ellen Fletcher Bisker, of Franktown, R.J. Fletcher and wife, Justine, of Atlanta, Ga., and Hunter Baldwin and wife, Cassie, of Flowery Branch, Ga. Mr. Fletcher was predeceased by his father and an uncle, Charles Richards Fletcher.

Mr. Fletcher was known by everyone he ever met and many friends who were special to him. He has been remembered for his kindness and generosity, being a friend to all.

A memorial service will be conducted from Atlantic Baptist Church, Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at the Atlantic Volunteer Fire Company.
