Suspect Arrested in Horntown Stabbing

By Linda Cicoira — A 50-year-old Horntown woman was arrested Monday, July 8, and charged with maliciously wounding another woman, according to Accomack Sheriff Todd Godwin.

Just before 3:30 a.m., Sunday, the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Eastern Shore 911 Center regarding a woman who had been stabbed at a residence on Fleming Road in Horntown. 

The victim, who was not identified, was taken by Oak Hall Rescue to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, in Onancock, where she was treated and released.

A suspect, Doretha Nadd, is being held in Accomack Jail with bond denied.
