Mr. Timmothy Karl Wood, 56, of New Church, husband of Sherri Lee Wood, passed away July 20, 2019, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 13, 1962, in Nassawadox, he was the son of Vincent Calvin Wood and stepmother, Sara Lewis Wood, and the late Sandra Shreaves Wood. Mr. Wood was a wonderful husband, property manager, loved his Mustang, birds, flowers and gardening. He was an awesome family man and always looked out for others. Other than his father, stepmother, and wife, survivors include two sons, Justin Karl Wood, of Wallops Island, and Mark Alan Ward Jr. and wife, Jessica, of Mappsville; a grandson, Mark Alan Ward III, of Mappsville; two brothers, Calvin Keenan Wood, of Cheriton, and Brian Vincent Wood, of Florida; his father-in-law, Billy Taylor, of New Church; several nieces and nephews; and his best furry friend, Zoie. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 26, 2019, at 11 a.m. from Atlantic United Methodist Church, in Atlantic, with the Rev. Hodae Kim officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Assawoman United Methodist Church, P.O.
