Mr. Brian Randall Hansen, 38, of New Church, passed away Sept. 10, 2019 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Salisbury, Md., April 11, 1981, to Erick Hansen and Phyllis Tolbert Cox. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mr. Hansen was employed at Raytheon. He loved watching his son play baseball, racing, fixing stuff and working on four wheelers with his son. He loved camping and being on the water.
Mr. Hansen is survived by his loving spouse of 16 years, Stephanie Leigh Hansen, of New Church; son, Cody James Hansen, of New Church; mother, Phyllis Cox, of New Church; father Erick Hansen and his wife, Patty Woodhurst, of New Church; stepfather, Tim Cox, of New Church; three brothers, Eric Olson, of Pennsylvania, Fred Cox, of Chincoteague Island, Dustin Woodhurst and his wife, Mandy, of Atlantic; two sisters, Heather Olson and her husband, Brent, of Idaho, Nicolette Hickman and her husband, Mark, of New Church; four-legged fur baby, Lacey Lou; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Wayne and Kathryn Tolbert and Arne and Olga Hansen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, 2 p.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, Chincoteague, with the Rev. Maurice Enright officiating.
