Mrs. Hilda L. Clark Broussard, 88 of Biloxi, Miss., passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, in Ocean Springs, Miss.

Mrs. Broussard was born in Bishopville, Md. She lived and was raided on Chincoteague Island, Va.  She married and moved to the Mississippi coast where she lived the past 60 years. She was a longtime member of the Fleur De Lis Society in Biloxi, Miss.

Mrs. Broussard loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Sidney Broussard; her parents, Adford and Alice Clark; her daughter, Denise Broussard; three sisters, Doris Walker, Cinderella Gillespie, and Rosalie Matthews; and two brothers, Albert “Bolan” Clark and Carlton Lee Clark.

Mrs. Broussard is survived by her daughters, Linda (George) Alward, of Atlantic, and Dolores (William) Lee, of Gautier, Md.; son, Richard (Tina) Broussard of Biloxi, Miss.; sister, Alice (Edward) Kaul, of Chincoteague; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service and visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, from the Howard Ave. Chapel of Bradford-O’keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi, Miss., followed by interment in the Biloxi City Cemetery.
