Sealed Indictments Made Public

Indictment

By Linda CicoiraSealed indictments alleging drug offenses were brought by a Northampton grand jury earlier this month and made public Monday.

Frank Elliott Downing Jr., 56, of Racetrack Road in Keller, was indicted on a count of possession with intent to distribute LSD on Aug. 2, 2018. Downing was arrested Sept. 12. Bail was set at $2,500. 

Omar Sturgis, 58, of Boston Road in Pungoteague, was indicted on a count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine on Jan. 23, 2018. A secured bail was set at $3,500. Sturgis was arrested Sept. 14.

Kaitlyn Dawn Savage, 25, with addresses on Seaside Road in Exmore and Fletcher Road in Bloxom, was indicted on a count of distribution of Subutex on Oct. 12, 2017. She was arrested Sept. 11 and is being held without bail. 

Christina Dawn Huffman, 23, with addresses on Ryan Lane in Cape Charles and Red Oak Court in Franktown, was indicted on a count of possession with intent to distribute Suboxone on Aug. 29, 2017. She was arrested Sept. 11 and is being held without bond.

Fred William Munford III, 24, of Lee Street in Belle Haven, was indicted on a count of possession with intent to distribute Tramadol. Court records show police confiscated 117 pills on Oct. 4, 2017. Mumford was arrested Sept. 19. He is being held without bond. 

John William Reid, 46, of Cheapside Drive in Cape Charles, was indicted on a count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine on Jan. 23, 2018. He was arrested Sept. 12. Bond was set at $3,000.

Claudette M. Elliott, aka Claudette Marie Holdgrafer, 50, and Christopher Elliott, 47, both of Osprey Circle in Hebron, Md., and Ester Nicholson, 50, of Locustville Road in Onley, were each indicted on a count of delivering, attempting to deliver, or conspiring to deliver Fentanyl to a prisoner on May 7, 2019. The two women were arrested Sept. 11 and were given unsecured bonds of $10,000. Christopher Elliott was arrested Sept. 13 and is being held without bond.
