Mr. Edward John Cummings, 83, husband of the late Barbara May Price Cummings and a resident of Jamesville, formerly of Turnersville, N.J., passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley. A native of Camden, N.J., he was the son of the late Henry Joseph Cummings and the late Sarah Helen Winstanley Cummings. Edward worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after 22 years and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Randy E. Cummings and his wife, Maria, of Wardtown, and Todd Price and Deborah Price, of Sicklerville, N.J.; five grandchildren, Jackie, Nate, Billy, Steffanie, and Ryan; four great-grandchildren, Gianna, Ella, Mia, and Sofia; one sister, Sarah Lamonica, and her husband, Joe, of Valle, N.C.; and one brother, Henry Cummings, and his wife, Dorothea, of Laurel Springs, N.J. He was predeceased by a son, Troy W. Cummings.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at 11 a.m., at Doughty Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Peterson officiating.
