Mr. Charles Stanley Donnell, 78, husband of Marlene Goldenbaum Donnell and a resident of Onancock, and formerly a longtime resident of Cream Ridge, N.J., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock. Born in Trenton, N.J., he was the son of the late Willard F. Donnell and the late Mildred Reynolds Donnell. He was a retired welder-steamfitter, 58-year member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 9 in Englishtown, N.J., a member of the Peninsula Tractor Organization, and a life member of N.R.A. Benefactor Level. Charles was an avid hunter, fisherman, and woodworker.

In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, he is survived by four children, Marvin Donnell and his wife, Arlene, of Zuni, Va., Kenneth Donnell, of Kittery, Maine, Dale Donnell and his wife, Stella, of Cream Ridge, and Daryl Donnell and his wife, Mary Jo, of Bordentown, N.J.; eight grandchildren, Kelly Donnell, Charles “Chaz” Donnell and his wife, Kelly, Mary Kate Soliva and her husband, Nelson, Sarah Day and her husband, Cory, Bradley Donnell, Emily Donnell, Coner Donnell, and Isabella Donnell; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Clayton and Bryer Donnell; a special nephew, Charles Amburn, and his wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Madelyn; and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, John C. Donnell.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at the family farm in Onancock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The NRA Foundation, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
