Mrs. Delores B. Abbott, 77, of Parksley, peacefully departed this life Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at her residence.
Born in Baltimore, Md., Delores was the beloved daughter of the late Chester Bailey and the late Sarah Nedab. She was married to Thomas L. Abbott. Delores was employed at Tyson Foods for several years until she was injured.
Private funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Fred Crawley officiating. Interment was in the First Baptist Cemetery, Mappsville.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Thomas L. Abbott; three children, Dom Bailey, Craig Bailey, and Myron Bailey; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-children, Leatha Abbott, Linda Abbott, and Carolyn Abbott; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
