Mr. Samuel Keyhia Dennis, 34, of Bloxom, departed this life Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at Riverside Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
“Yammie” as he was known by family and friends, was born in Nassawadox. He is the beloved son of Samuel J. Dennis and Vana L. Handy Dennis. He was educated in the public schools of Accomack County. Samuel was a truck driver for Dennis Trucking, and a member of the Rated X motorcycle club.
Private funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at the Mary N. Smith Cultural Enrichment Center, Accomac, with the Rev. Tamela P. Wise officiating. Interment was in the Macedonia Baptist Cemetery, Bloxom.
Samuel leaves to cherish fond memories: his daughters, Danae Dennis and Danasia Dennis; parents, Samuel Dennis and Vana Dennis; sisters, Tikisha Dennis, Senora Dennis, Tiffany Dennis, and Kentoya Sample; brothers, Sedrick Dennis, Arren Dennis, Antoine Dennis, and Kevin Cropper; eight aunts; six uncles; one great-great aunt; one nephew; one niece; godparents, Eddie Savage, Leroy Townsend, and Mitchell Townsend; and a host cousins and friends.
