Mr. Brian Lee Daley, 49, of Onancock, passed away March 7, 2021. Born Sept. 20, 1971, in Falls Church, Va., he was the son of Kevin and Teri Daley and Andrea Koerner Wessels and her partner, Michael Gladding, all of Onancock.

A man of endless talent, Brian’s smile and easy-going personality were among the many things that made him a fast friend to anyone he met. A cabinet maker by trade, he could design and build furniture and cabinets for an entire home, as well as repair and enhance the tools needed to perfect his work. Brian had a love for cars at an early age, which grew into a lifelong passion of driving. Like his work, Brian could repair anything under the hood of a car. He won numerous awards and trophies as a driver and mechanic of the “Daley Express,” a dragster, which was a joint venture with his Dad. In recent years, he enjoyed flying his drone and had become quite the chef extraordinaire, often preparing impressive meals for family and friends. Brian will be missed by many, but he would want his family and friends to remember the good times shared.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his wife, Melissa Siegel Daley, and his son, Zachary Daley, both of Onancock; sister, Elizabeth Daley, of Revere Beach, Mass.; brothers, Christopher Daley and his wife, Julie, and their children Donita, Zachary, Dakota, Zoey, and Cayden, of Tampa, Fla., and Craig Stevens and his wife, Ann, and their children, Hannah and Emma, of Great Falls, Va.; good friend, William Dewey; his dog, Bud, who was always by his side; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and countless friends.

Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at the Mount Holly Cemetery Friday, March 12, 2021, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Andy Cobb officiating.
