I read your story about attorney Paul Watson IV (“State Bar Revokes Eastville Attorney Paul Watson’s License to Practice Law,” March 6, 2020) and wish that you can publish my comments about him.
Mr. Watson provided desperately needed representation to my nephew that certainly saved my nephew’s life when he was charged and held without access to his insulin shots.
Mr. Watson was able to get him instant access to his medicine and his subsequent efforts resulted in the dismissal of the charges. My nephew might have died while awaiting representation, as at the time Mr. Watson was the only attorney available to represent him. It is a great disservice to the community and to potential clients who will go unrepresented in this community that he has been disbarred.
I hope that justice will be served by a public outcry for the restoration of Mr. Watson’s bar license.
