Mr. Delbert Eugene Dickerson, 59, of New Church, received eternal life Monday, April 15, 2021, at his residence.
Born in Horntown, Delbert was the beloved son of the late Walter George Dickerson Sr. and Lennie Frances Dickerson. He was affectionately known as “Del” by his family and friends. Delbert worked at Perdue Farms in Accomac.
Private graveside services were held Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Dea’s Chapel Cemetery, Horntown, with the Rev. Lavenia Fletcher officiating.
He leaves his love and fond memories to his sister, Lorrie Dickerson; brother, Walter G. Dickerson Jr.; godsister, Angela Brown; three nieces; three nephews; five uncles; five aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
