Mr. Michael A. Taylor, 62, of New Church, transitioned Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from Earth to Glory at his residence, after a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Salisbury, Md., Michael was the son of the late Willie Armstrong and the late Willie Marie Taylor. He was affectionately known as “Buddy” or “Skidrow” by his family and friends. Skidrow dedicated over 45 years to the trucking industry.

Private funeral services were held Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Minister Quintavion Washington officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Pocomoke, Md.

Buddy leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted caregiver and soulmate, Joyce Bibbins; daughter, Renata Price; son, Michael Johnson; children that he raised as his own, Tinya Bibbins, Terence Bibbins, Michael Price, Zemora Taylor, and Keva Handy; sisters, Lela Taylor, Ethel Thornton, and Gloria Taylor; brothers, John Taylor, Sidney Taylor, and William Taylor; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
