Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Virginia Division of Rehabilitative Services and the Job Assistance Center Inc., we would like to thank Robert Duer and his staff at the Town of Exmore for allowing us to utilize the Exmore Town Park for the Eastern Shore Regional Job Fair held May 5. Over 200 people attended the event (104 job seekers and over 44 booths with employers, resource agencies, etc.).
Participants were able to apply and interview for many positions available on the Eastern Shore and Maryland. In addition, they were able to access information from local agencies on services available for various programs and services.
The feedback from employers was very positive with many successful hires.
