Mrs. Hazel Bennett Justis, 95, wife of the late Lawrence Gilbert Justis, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, with her daughter by her side. Born March 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Otho and Roxie Bennett.
Always with a smile, Hazel had the kindest of hearts, which perfectly matched her unwavering faith in the Lord. She was a longtime member of Independent Pilgrim Church in Greenbush, and she remained a dedicated member over the years.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lauren Esther Justis, of Loveland, Ohio, and sister-in-law, Margaret Bennett. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Carlton and Wilson Bennett.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at 11 a.m., with Mike Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
