Mr. Walter Ross McHan Sr., 52, a resident of Exmore, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at his home. A native of the Eastern Shore, he was the son of the late Patricia Starr McHan. Walt was a mentor for Therapeutic Interventions Inc. and enjoyed being with his children, fishing, shooting, boating, football, and baseball. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.
He is survived by his children, Walter McHan Jr., of Eastville, and Colin McHan and Caleb McHan, both of Exmore; granddaughter, who called him “Gamps,” Hayden Scott McHan; the mothers of his children, Theresa McHan and Amy Manelski; and a group of friends that were family. Walt was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Scott McHan.
A Celebration of Life service was conducted Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at 3 p.m., at the Exmore Baptist Church Outreach Center with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter officiating.
