Alice Mae Savage

Mrs. Alice Mae Savage, of Wallops Island, was called into eternal rest at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Md., on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021.

Born in New Church, Alice was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred Morris. Alice was an employee of Perdue Foods and Tyson Foods combined, for more than 20 years. After retiring, she later worked at Tom’s Cove, on Chincoteague Island.

On March 25, 1980, Alice was joined in holy matrimony to Marvin W. Savage. They enjoyed 41 years of wedded bliss until the time of her passing.

Private graveside services were held Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery, Horntown, with the Rev. Richard Holland officiating.

Alice leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Marvin W. Savage; one son, Craig Morris; one grandson, Craig Morris Jr.; three brothers, Edward Morris, Alvin Morris, and Clifton Morris; seven sisters, Shirley Morris, Betty Hall, Christine Collins, Dianne Duncan, Elnora Lewis, Teresa Collins, and Mildred Byrd; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
