Ms. Patricia “Patty” Hopkins Bero, 69, of Richmond, passed away Nov. 4, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her father, William C. Hopkins Jr., and her mother, Carolyn M. Hopkins. She is survived by her daughter, Erin Bero Proffitt; son-in-law, Glenn Proffitt; granddaughter, Nora Proffitt “Nugget”; brother, Clinton Hopkins; and her “TRIBE” of friends.
Patty was a graduate of Northampton High School and went on to study at Averett College and at Longwood University.
A Celebration of Life, Patty style, will be scheduled for the future – Patty loved a good party. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
