A middle school cheerleading competitionwas held at Arcadia High School last Thursday, Dec. 2. Cheer teams from Northampton Middle School, Nandua Middle School, and Chincoteague Middle School participatedin the competition.
Each team had three minutes on the floor to perform its routines. Nandua finished in first place with a score of 136 points. Northampton finished second with 98 points, the team’s best placement in over 10 years. Chincoteague came in third with 64 points.
