Mr. Harold Dean Johns Sr., 80, husband of Virginia Teano Johns and a resident of Jamesville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at his residence. A native of West Virginia, he was the son of the late James Johns and the late Maxine Keesee Johns. He was a retired welder, member of Exmore Baptist Church, and served as Sunday School superintendent for 11 years.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three children, Harold Dean Johns Jr. and his wife, Tracey, of Irmo, S.C., Sandra D. Johns Stewart and her husband, Jamie, of Dagsboro, Del., and Vicki L. Kesler, of Jamesville; a brother, James “Hardy” Johns, and his wife, Nancy, of Forest Hill, Md.; one granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Jerry L. Johns.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at 1 p.m., at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mt. View Road, Mariottsville, MD 21104, with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter officiating.
