Dear Editor:
From cavemen to Vikings to pirates or cowboys: Men and their egos and testosterone have led our country into wars.
It’s time to put women in charge! We do not want wars. We have the children who would be fighting in these wars. We cannot imagine looking another human being in the eye and shooting them dead. Blood and guts all over.
We want peace!
While watching on TV the mating rituals of animals, the same is true: the male has to fight other males for the female and territory.
The weak will succumb to the strong.
Just the fact that Republicans and Democrats cannot unite is a failure for any progress. The Biden administration is weak and makes terrible decisions with the stroke of a pen. I’m skeptical our country will ever get back to what it was and should be.
We women are nurturers and peacemakers. We are mothers (and fathers to some) who can’t conceive sending our sons or daughters overseas to fight these terrible, egotistical political wars.
