The Northampton girls varsity soccer team traveled to Nandua to compete in a rival district match. Northampton’s offense came out on fire and the Warriors were unable to stop them from scoring. The Yellow Jackets scored five goals in the first half while keeping Nandua scoreless, but they were not done yet. The team added two more goals in the second half, leading the team to a 7-0 victory over the Warriors.

Vashti Holmes and Jacqueline Santos each had an outstanding game recording three goals apiece. Ryan Jones added one goal in the game with an assist from Liz Panuco. Northampton extends its season record to 5-1 and will compete again on Friday against Northumberland. The Lady Warriors are now 2-2 and set to host Arcadia for another district matchup on April 20 at Nandua.
