Mr. Jesse Alan Lankford, of Mears, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Onancock, at the age of 64. He was born on Dec. 1, 1957, in Mears, and his parents were Homer and Nita Lankford (now deceased).
He is survived by his brothers, Dale Lankford (Elizabeth) and Chris Lankford (Cookie); aunt, Ellen Vandran; longtime companion, Mary Snead; two nieces; one nephew; and several cousins.
To honor his wishes, no services will be held. A private interment was held at Wessell’s Cemetery in Mears.
Local arrangements were by Fox Funeral Home, Chincoteague.
