Chincoteague High School athlete Emma Jackson was recently named to the Extra Innings Softball High School All-American Team as a first team outfielder. Extra Innings Softball is one of the nation’s premier softball rankings publications.
Jackson adds this award alongside her First Team ESVA All District, VHSL Region 1A Player of the Year, and VHSL Class 1 First Team All State outfield awards. During the 2022 softball season, Jackson batted .675, set a school record with 13 home runs, had 37 RBIs, and scored 41 runs. She also struck out only once all season.
