Mr. Harrison J. Savage, 74, of Atlantic, departed this life Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, Del.

Born in Horsey, Harrison is the son of the late James and Audrey Savage. He was affectionately known as “Electric Arms.”

Upon graduation, he earned an associate degree in electronic engineering from Norfolk State College. Harrison was a lead maintenance mechanic at Perdue Farms in Accomac. He was also part owner and assistant to his mother Audrey Savage’s travel tours.

On April 5, 1969, he was joined in holy matrimony to Deborah Williams and this union was blessed with 53 years of love. He was a faithful member of St. John’s U.M. Church in Atlantic.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, at the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Interment was in the St. John’s U.M. Church Cemetery, Atlantic.

Harrison leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Deborah Marie Savage; three sons, Derrick Williams, Harrison James Savage Jr., and Garrett Dickerson; four grandsons; one uncle; sisters, Evelena Carter, Joyce Mason, Diane Williams, Leona Parker, Darlene Savage, and Audrey Perdue; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
