Mr. Anthony C. Nock, 53, of Accomac, departed this life Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
Born in Nassawadox, Anthony was the beloved son of the late Lorenzo Sr. and Betty Nock. He was affectionately known as “Harry” by his family and friends.
Harry was educated in the Accomack County Public School system and was a graduate of Nandua High School. Upon graduation and before his health began to decline, Harry was employed as a produce manager at Meatland/Food City.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. George Holmes officiating. Interment was in the Snead’s Memorial U.M. Church Cemetery, Keller.
Left to cherish his many fond memories are: his siblings, Yvonne Ayres, Margaret Dix, Sylvia Fiddemon, Denise Byrd, Lorenzo Nock Jr., Natalie Brinkley, Randolph Nock, and Deon Davis; two aunts, Mae Anna Nock and Margaret Nock; several special friends; his closest “homies” (dialysis partners) at Davita Kidney Center; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
