Annual Turkey Shoot

The Saxis Volunteer Fire/Rescue Co. will be hosting their annual Turkey Shoot on Saturday, November 21, starting at 10 a.m. through 3 p.m., to be held in Saxis, Virginia. This is the 35th year that the Fire Company has held the event and is the Longest Running Turkey Shoot on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
Barrel Limit of 30” and 12 Gauge Only. In addition, there will be rounds designated for kids – 410 Gauge.
Patrons will be shooting for Turkeys, Hams and 50/50 Rounds. There will be Special Rounds assigned for Hand Carved Decoys by local carvers.
Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwiches, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, and other refreshments will be on sales at site.
The monies raised during this event are used during the holidays for Community Needs.
Social Distancing and Masks are encouraged.
