Chamber Music Comes to Chincoteague
On Saturday, June 15, at 3:30 pm, Trio St. Bernard, winners of the 2018 Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition, will perform at the Island Theatre on Chincoteague. The competition is a biennial international event open to young professional ensembles. Trio St. Bernard, formed in the summer of 2015 at the Taos School of Music, has quickly gained acclaim for its creative and energized performances on piano, violin and cello.  At the concert, the Trio will perform works by Rameau, Ravel and Dvorák.
The concert is presented by Chincoteague Island Arts Organization and Chincoteague Cultural Alliance with generous support from Chincoteague Resort Vacations, Long & Foster Realty, Somerset Regional Animal Hospital, Pocomoke Animal Hospital, H&H Pharmacy, Taylor Bank and Sundial Books.
Tickets are $15 and are available online at Chincoteaugeca.org, at H&H Pharmacy and Sundial Books (cash or check only), or at the door.  Youth aged 18 and under and students with ID are admitted free of charge. Concert attendees are cordially invited to a reception in the Theatre Annex immediately following the performance.
