Watching Warblers is the first of a series of motion picture guides to the birds of North
America filmed and produced by Eastern Shore residents Michael Male and Judy Fieth,
whose work has been televised by National Geographic, HBO, the BBC, and PBS’s
NOVA and NATURE. This program explores the lives of 39 warbler species that nest in
Eastern North America, providing intimate views of singing and foraging in their
breeding habitat, nest-building and caring for young. Many of these birds may be seen
on this spring’s field trips or in your own backyard. You can learn more about Michael
and Judy’s finished projects at www.birdfilms.com.
The presentation is free and the public is invited to attend.
