Fifth Celebration Friday

May 10, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The 100th Anniversary Committee for the Cape Charles Memorial Library is excited
to announce our fifth Celebration Friday on May 10, at 7 PM, held at the Library with
light refreshments. May’s presenter is Thelma Peterson, a well-known watercolor artist
and singer/songwriter living on our Eastern Shore. Thelma’s work can be viewed in
various galleries nationwide and in private collections. She has been recognized for her
original songs “When the Watermen are Gone” and “I am at War.”
Thelma draws much of her inspiration for both her artwork and musical compositions
from life on the Eastern Shore, especially the natural beauty of the shoreline of
Chesapeake Bay. Thelma will be sharing her artistic talents with us and performing
some of her musical compositions.
It is bound to be a delightful evening so plan on joining us!
