Hypertension and Me

The Friends of the Cape Charles Memorial Library proudly presents Spring into Health Zoom and Learn program entitled Hypertension and Me on Saturday, April 17 at Noon. Dr. Lloyd J. Kellam III, M.D. will explain what hypertension is, what causes it, how important it is to you, what it can do to your health and how to control it. Please join this informative seminar to ensure you stay healthy!

Our guest Speaker, Dr. Lloyd J. Kellam III, is the head of Cardiology at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. He has over 30 years of experience in Cardiology and loves to share his experience with everyone. He graduated from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. And did his fellowship there. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

The Friends of the CCML invite you to join us online on Saturday, April 17 at 12 Noon, for the third event of our Spring 2021 Zoom and Learn Spring into Health Series.

A suggested donation for the online Zoom event is $5.00. Check, credit card, or Venmo payment (@FriendsofCCML) are accepted.

Reservations must be made by midnight, April 16, 2021. You will receive an email with the Zoom link one to two hours before the meeting begins on Saturday morning. Just click on the link we send you in the email and you will be able to see and hear everything. Please sign in a few minutes early to make sure you can see and hear the presentation.

If You Are Not Familiar with Attending Zoom Conferences: Zoom is a program that allows you to see and hear the presenter. From your computer, go to www.zoom.com and follow the instructions. From your cell phone, go to the App Store (iPhone or Google App store, or whatever your cell provider instructs you), and search for Zoom. Install the app – it is free.
