The Accomack County Branch of the NAACP Meeting

The Accomack County Branch of the NAACP will have a day of celebration and remembrance of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 21st at 10 a.m. at the Macedonia A.M.E. Church in Accomac. The Rev. Sam Smith, Pastor of the Anointed Word Deliverance Ministries will be the keynote speaker. Our theme is “The Dream is for All of Us; Equality, Unity and Humanity”.
The Honorable C. Reneta Major will provide remarks at the courthouse steps after the march.
There will also be a program for youth and young adults at the Mary N Smith Cultural Enrichment Center in Accomac at 1 p.m. with Min. Quintavion Washington speaking. Free food and entertainment will be provided.
